Day Two of the 2026 X-Treme Team Roping Finals delivered a pressure-packed #14.5 Shoot-Out, and Jace Davis and JR Gonzalez answered every call.

The pair covered four steers in 27.47 seconds to claim the championship and a $22,000 payday. Their finish also brought home Corriente championship buckles and Durango Boots, capping a steady run through one of the toughest short-go fields of the week.

Fermin Gilbert and Ryan Gorham kept the pressure on and finished second with 29.14 on four, earning $16,000 and saddle pads. Walker Smith and Rhyder Rosipal stopped the clock at 30.17 to take third, $12,000 and Classic Equine coolers.

The fastest single run belonged to Sanders McElroy and Ryan Gorham. Their 5.52-second trip earned the $900 fast-time check.
